Rose Red takes first place in my book, for the longest and
scariest, with me.  Just plain freaky goes to Dreamcatcher
(Stephen King).  After that, The Shining.

Two of my favorites are the original Frankenstein with Boris
Kaloff and Hellraiser by Clive Barker. Actually, I love all
of the old monster movies. They used a more psychological
approach to scaring people as opposed to the shock and gore
of today’s movies.

When I was a kid I was terrified of a movie called, “Burnt
Offerings”  and then “Amityville Horror”.  They still creep
me out!
