Greetings Infomaniacs,
Congratulations to “Ginny Anderson” who won this week’s

Yet I am easily found;
Ignore me at your own peril,
And you might end up crowned!
What am I?
ANSWER: A cavity.

RANDOM TIDBITS
This will be the 10th Super Bowl to be held in the Miami
area and the first since Indianapolis beat Chicago three
years ago. It will also be the 15th Super Bowl to be held
in Florida. New Orleans has hosted nine games. Thirty-two
of 44 Super Bowls, including this year’s, have been held
outdoors. Nineteen different venues have hosted Super Bowls
throughout its existence.
***
Twenty-two quarterbacks have won Super Bowl Most Valuable
Player honors, more than any other position. Running backs
are next with seven, but wide receivers have won three of
the last five MVP awards for a total of six. The Super Bowl
MVP award was first named after late commissioner Pete
Rozelle after Super Bowl XXV (Giants-Bills).
***
This year’s game will mark a CBS record 17th Super Bowl
telecast; NBC is one behind them with 16 games. CBS and NBC
both aired the first Super Bowl in January, 1967, each with
separate booths, announcers and camera crews. The second-
half kickoff had to be replayed when it was discovered NBC
was airing a commercial.

Budweiser Frogs Commercial
There are a lot of commercials out there and half of the
time you may not even remember what they were advertising
but in this clip how can you not!

The Vince Lombardi Trophy is made of sterling silver and is
created by Tiffany And Company. It stands 20.75 inches tall,
weighs 107.3 ounces and is valued at $25,000. It will be
presented by Super Bowl IV Most Valuable Player Len Dawson,
marking the 40th anniversary of his team’s title.
***
Only one player has intercepted three passes in a Super
Bowl, Oakland’s Rod Martin (XV). On 11 occasions, a Super
Bowl interception has been returned for a touchdown. Only
one player has done it twice, Tampa Bay’s Dwight Smith in
Super Bowl XXXVII. All 11 scoring interceptors have played
for the winning team.
***
Twelve Super Bowls have featured a rematch of a regular-
season game. Interestingly, the team that lost the regular-
season meeting won the Super Bowl matchup seven times. The
most recent occurrence of this came two years ago in Super
Bowl XLII, when the New York Giants upended the New England
Patriots, 17-14.
